Freddy's Frozen Custard Steakburgers

Most times I come here I go through the drive-thru for dinner. The night shift is great and have never had any problems! However I just went through for the first time for lunch, and the messed up my boyfriends order, gave me the wrong size drink, and regular fries instead of cheese fries. I told him I had ordered a Large no. 2 with cheese fries, but that I could give him the regular fries back. Had to pay for the fries which were his mistake. I can understand mistakes, but he kept interrupting me and said I got what I ordered. Displeased to say the least. I guess Freddie?s for dinner only? Update/ The general Manager Sam Shepard gave me a call and was such a helpful and kind man! Obviously a great general manager! Thank you!!

I visited Freddy's last Sunday, eagerly anticipating their limited-time fish sandwich, and unfortunately, the experience was far from enjoyable. The sandwich was tough and overcooked, so I started to pick it apart. To my dismay, I discovered something unusual that resembled a worm. I immediately returned to the restaurant and spoke to the manager on duty, who offered me another sandwich, but I declined. I asked for the corporate phone number, but as it was Sunday, I didn’t receive any response. As of now, I still haven’t heard back from them, and to make matters worse, I didn't receive any refund. If I could give them no stars, I honestly would.

The food was awful and served cold. I don’t live far from the restaurant, but by the time I got home, everything was still cold, and the hot dog I received looked like the second picture. When I returned to the restaurant, a staff member insisted on remaking the hot dog, which resembled the first picture, but I don’t understand how it ended up like that. There aren’t any roller coasters in this area, and I’m not a reckless driver, so I don’t know why the food looked this way. Aside from the poor food quality, the customer service was friendly. However, I came here to eat. I also ordered a burger meal, which was stale and cold as well. I would give this a zero rating if I could.

The restaurant features four round picnic-style tables outside, which are quite pleasant on cool evenings. If you're a fan of thin meat burgers, this is the place for you. The fries are also on the thinner side, which I enjoy. Their jalapeño ketchup is a highlight for me, and the custard is consistently good. However, one area for improvement is the training of new staff. On two occasions, the tea I received tasted like brown soapy water. If you opt for the drive-through, be sure to check your ice cream order. I ordered a single scoop of vanilla, but it tasted more like the leftover from the previous batch—very disappointing! What’s going on, Freddy?

This place used to be great! What happened??? The workers aren't friendly. Plus, the food is very inconsistent. Please work on your customer skills and food consistency. The quality is not what it used to be. Sad. I guess this will be another place to mark off my list of places not to go to for quite awhile.
