The Sixth Street Bistro Pub

We didn't think that was so great. the personal was friendly; the outdoor landscape is pretty, but the inside of the restaurant is moderate. the Bleu-Käseburger my mannes had blue cheese on it, not real Bleu cheese. my chicken sandwich was bland and dry. there was no hot water in the bathroom. yikes!

This new restaurant is great! The Lift wings were so good!! I heard they have music trivia. I'll have to check it out!

Visited Hood River for the weekend and decided to try this place for lunch (on Feb 4), because it was convenient and could meet the dietary needs of our group. Their patio was temporarily unavailable, due to snow having damaged the tent, but when owner Chris learned we didn't want to eat inside, he went out of his way to make us comfortable at the fire table and benches beside the front door. He checked on us regularly, gave us other local business recommendations, and made us feel like we were his most important guests. The food was delicious and prepared to our liking, as well. An all-around great experience that made a beautiful day in Hood River even better!

I ordered goat lamb gyros, curry with goat, and a coconut water. I paid $24, thanked her for the meal, and drove to the riverbank to eat...The lamb gyro meat had little flavor and tasted fatty, but was better than the curry.The Curry with goat was worse than the gyros... A mountain of fresh cilantro with a few slivers of cut-ginger did not go with the curry there was no goat just greasy gyros meat that tasted microwaved.

Attentive staff, mediocre pub food. The salmon was dry and had a bitter taste- not sure if it was their seasoning? Fries were good.
