Liliha Bakery - Honolulu

Always a must when I come home. Must be her pancakes, Loco Moco and Chantilly Cake for me. Not a fan of her coco puffs. The original location is our preferred location, and we prefer bakery seating because it is warm and you can see bakers in action! Not like eating at the counter that gets crowded and cold!

Our first evening in Oahu was held in Liliha Bakery. We had dinner first. You took our big party fast. We were all exhausted and jet lay, with Hawaiian comfort food was perfect in the first night. We had a variety of dishes between us, we tried each other meals and the choice for the best was for the Teriyaki chicken, roasted rice and these butter rolls with some pink diving sauce. It was delicious. We bought baked goods before we left. The children loved the cupcakes, the Danish was so good, the apricot especially. The Scones were also delicious. I don't think you went wrong with one of the baked goods.

Matcha galore! The cream doll is by far my favorite, the crème inside and above are not too sweet, but only enough to come for more. Mochi Donuts had a wonderful chewing texture to him and balance in sweetness as well. So far, everything I've tried has not been disappointed.

The food was absolutely delicious! You've always been a reliable place for good food since I was a young boy. And it's still true, all these years later!! The mating girls, Julia and Janet, were friendly and very service oriented! I will always recommend Liliha Bakery as a good place to eat! Especially the original location! We are so excited that they will open another location in Pearl City in July of this year!

Amazing! Tried the chicken and waffles and was top notch! Get there early (30 minutes after open) and get a good seat with very little wait, if at all. I hear they have lines out the door though and I'm interested to see how their dinner is next time I'm in town
