The menu features a delightful blend of classic American dishes with a local twist, including options like roasted rice. The staff is very friendly, and they provide a 10% discount for military personnel! There are no long wait times, and there's ample space for groups.
I know I can find cheaper Kalua pig elsewhere, but if you're spending a whole day at Pearl Harbor, this is a solid choice at the Aviation Museum. The rice complemented the pork nicely, and while the green salad was a bit heavy on the dressing, it was still tasty. The catch of the day, seasoned with soy sauce and ginger, was enjoyable and reasonably priced too.
The cheeseburger and fries were delicious and a generous portion. The Kalua pork with rice and mac salad was also quite tasty. The option for flavored soda shots with the Pepsi was a great idea, and I appreciated the free refills!
A comfortable, open and pleasant environment to eat. The Laniakea Cafe is located in the Pacific Aviation Museum and has your basic distribution, with a local touch of local food! They also guide specials and their menus contain not only your average fast meals, but actual meals that keep you content! They also serve beer and wine, organic (horizontal) chocolate and white milk and a range of drinks to contain energy drinks, gatorade, juices and mechanically distributed juices. There are ADA seats and the entire area is spacious.
The restaurant is located at the Air Museum on Ford Island. The food was quite good, and there was a convenient beverage area, which made things a bit easier. The food wasn’t bad at all; while it wasn’t outstanding, it was certainly better than average.
