フィードバックを提供するDisappointing considering what this place was with their Sando (Sandwich) which were excellent !! They just changed from Sando 's to curry plates . They were only taking online orders so I ordered while just outside the store with only 1 customer trying to order at the counter, I ordered a beef curry bowl and waited 25 minutes for order to appear. Sadly when I got home I had the wrong bowl , I had chopped hamburger in a thick dry curry sauce with a soft boiled egg which was refrigerator cold on top the chopped hamburger curry, I was suppose to have rice and a bowl of beef curry . The chopped curry hamburger was definitely no where near the taste of the Japan Coco Curry which I thought would be due to similarity of the name COCO CURRY . Anyway , the serving was small and potato chips were a little stale . Bring back the Sandos !!!Service :Was good probably only had one guy taking order and also cooking seem so as it took so long to make my curry bowl. Also they only three customers with one bowl order and we all had to waist the same time as all three bowls came out at the same time which would make me think that they were short on staff . The guy was very nice and helpful . Ambiance: While waiting the 25 minutes for our food I sat at a small table with two other customers who were waiting for their bowls , the place was really warm kind of unbearable and the door was only half open which I dont know why might be because the only person we seen in the place was in the back probably cooking most of the time, I really feel for the guy who seem to me was the owner or manager as I know that getting good help is getting harder to find these days . . Good luck coco Curry and hope this review helps with my hope for improving the dinning experience I that had at your dinner .
Coco Bloom is so cute and definitely a lttle hidden gem. It's located next to the Longs in Kaimuki. You would not expect a cute little cafe to be there. The Aburi Miso Salmon was soft and yummy. The sides, eggplant and ratatouille, were good too. The Katsu was thick and juicy. It was my favorite of the two. Only downside is minimal seating and the fact that they don't give out water cups is confusing. I thought food establishments had to give you water? They said we had to buy bottles. Nonetheless, the cafe is cute and the food is delicious.
Hidden near Times Super Market is this cute kitchen Coco Bloom! They have a variety of smoothies, sandwiches, and more! What we ordered Shio-koji Pork Katsu Sando (10/10) The Katsu was amazing. I loved the tonkatsu sauce that they used and the cabbage! You may think at first glance that this sandwich is not filling, but it really is! I would get this again! I also loved that the pork wasn't too dry too. Egg Salad Sando (8/10) I loved how they added in one big perfectly soft boiled egg in the middle on the sandwich! It was a super cute presentation and honestly it was really good too. The only reason why I didn't give this a 10 is because I prefer my Egg Salad Sando to be more on the sweet side. But they did a great job with this on the savory side! Overall,It is a little pricey and it did take a little bit for the sandwich to come out, but it's worth it! I wouldn't mind coming back to try something else from here too!
My preschooler asked for an egg sandwich. I yelped it and coco bloom came up. Never heard of them until today. Although the items we picked were simple, but the food/salad/drink were all fresh and delish. Had no expectations, but the food and their kindness to my family blew me away.
This place might get overlooked because of next door but I will always recommend and come back because of how kindly they treated my family and how yummy their food and smoothie was. I actually preferred their salmon bowl to next door.
