Their baked char siu manapua are freaking delicious too, especially when warm and with that sticky-sweet glaze on top! Limited parking out front.
Everytime we come into Honolulu, this is one of our first stops. Not only do they have a selection of great food, but if you get there early enough, you can grab yourself some steamed Manapua! The food is amazing! Parking can be challenging, but if you time it right, you'll be good! This is fur take out only.Parking: Timing is key. Cars driving on street are usually courteous, patient, and drive slow.Wheelchair accessibility: Seems like it may be a little difficult for someone in a wheelchair. I would recommend having food delivered to you if that's an option. It'll still be worth it in my opinion.
Walk from Waikiki was worth it. Extreeeeeemely casual restaurant… boxes … misc stuff around … but the food was great. The staff are great. Reasonable prices. We came specifically to try the Manapua. Big selection but arrived at 11:15 am and they only had one type left! Also had the Shanghai noodles which had a mix of meat too. Delicious. It was a delicious sweet pork.Parking: Lots of free parking
Delicious everything! Great service and fast! Come early to get the best choices.Parking: Only 4 or 5 spots in front of the shop.
Not sure, why there's only three and a half stars for this place. I would take half a star off just because of the lack of parking (but Yelp won't let me). Other than that, their food is very good. Today, we went specifically for the manapuas. I really appreciate that they are open at 0700. Perfect for those of us who need to catch a morning flight. I highly recommend that you get there right when they open if you don't want to stand in a line. We got there at 7:03 a.m. and there were already two people ahead of us. Luckily, their orders weren't too complicated and we were serviced within 5 minutes. When we left, there were six people, in line, waiting behind us! Hardly any food is ready on the okazuya side at 0700. But they do have steamed/baked char siu manapua, brown/white rice cake, pork hash and hot dog manapua available. When you live on Maui and don't have any GOOD manapua vendors on island, bringing home a couple doz manapua for the famz, instantly makes you the favorite child .
