Sea DandeLion Cafe & Awa Bar - HONOKAA

Was exploring the area and wasn’t expecting to walk upon a vegan cafe, love the menu and people. Food was delicious

Decent sized menu with lots of healthy, filling vegan options

The food was incredible, the variety of selections extensive, and the staff was welcoming, as if we were family. The ice cream is local and sublime. Updated from previous review on 2021-12-14

We arrived shortly after 12:30, the door was open, when we got inside they said they were not open, pushed us out, and would not say when they open. Their door is also covered in anti vaccine and anti mask flyers.

An unexpected surprise in Honokaa, Hawaii Food The rueben sandwich was phenomenal. It had been a long time since I ate a Ruben Sandwich but having this vegan version was just as I remembered it with vegan cheese and vegan provolone! The spinach wrap BLT was also delicious but the award goes to the Rueben! Service Very pleasant service that brought our food out to us at an outside table. The service was quick and friendly. On top of that if you check in on Yelp here you get a free ChocoTea or Tea (that was happening when we went on 4/10/21 so double check). Atmosphere It was outside seating so hopefully it’s not raining when you get there and there isn’t much outside seating so be prepared to eat in your car. This is due to covid-19 so once the pandemic ends they will allow indoor seating. There’s free parking outside the restaurant. Price Moderately priced and well worth it!
