Rossy's Roost And Grill - Homewood

Great service for our group dinner at 130 to golf. Always had to ask for simple things like water. Did really have a bad taste after a great day on the course. Servers seemed disturbed, they even had to work. Loves the golf course, but will never eat there again.

Fantastic food. I came twice when I was working on a project in the city. Your food and service was incredible. When I'm back in the area.

I found Rossy? Roost on Open Table, and thought the menu looked good. So I made a reservation and we tried. All I can say is that it was one of the strangest culinary experiences I had in a very long time. I expected a restaurant, but it wasn't. It didn't look or felt like a restaurant. We went in and the only seats were a few tables for 4 and large 8-10 people banquet tables. There was really no waiter. The hostess sat and took our order, but it was supported by the bartender/manager and the young man in the pro-shop who ran the food. The food took a while, maybe because of a very loud Christmas party in the same room. So loud, in fact, that we watched a few at another table, rise and go after the order before they get their meal. So the employees brought their food to another table, but only for 2 of the 7 people at this table. So they sat and waited until all the other food came and the ones waiting included 3 young children. Only a very strange experience that completely missed the brand at any level.

Really enjoyed our first visit there for the fish and chips, but our next visit was a disappointment and wonder if we'll go back again.

Friday fish fry is delicious. Rest of the menu is very delicious. Must try if in the area.
