We splashed on Calamari and three sushi roles. The Calamari was light and well cooked, although the diving sauce was a hot chilli oil instead of regular sauce for tempura. It was good, but if I went back I would definitely skip to the app and go straight for the reels because that's where they were shining. The roles are very inspired and interesting. Meat was tender. Hamajiku (Rohr raisins, fig sauce was like no sushi roll I've ever tried. Pretty good. But we loved Sachihoko (Eel/unagi and Hatsu (cove beef). They had more complex flavors that worked so well together, both reels were incredible! We liked Hatsu a little more: food came fast and service was great. Definitely recommend!
I love this place so much. It’s a super small, intimate restaurant with amazing sushi. The river rock dish is a must. They bring you out raw beef, sesame oil, and a scorching hot rock, and you cook the meat yourself. It’s so cool! Also, the Kadoma Tuna dish is one of my favorite dishes. Don’t let the jalapeños scare you away from this dish, they are sliced so thin that it adds just a hint of heat.
Visited Jinsei on Valentine's Day after having a horrible experience elsewhere. I ordered the Kadoma Tuna and a Bubblegum Roll. Both were excellent as always. I decided to top off my meal with a Strawberry Mojito. I absolutely LOVE this place and have never had a bad experience. The ambiance is superb.
Consistently wonderful sushi, appetizers and the black cod bowl is a victory. Good selection of quality drinks and interesting cocktails. Your yellowtail serrano appetizer is our absolute favorite question after it thinly cut for an even more amazing experience.
The misery and sushi were delicious. But the atmosphere and the seating were different. Cracked and loud. Football on TV. Overpriced too.
