We went the night before Good Fridays grand opening. All dishes were excellent. We ordered tuna tartar, it was properly portioned and fresh. The fried plantains cheese and pico de Gallo dish was new to me and I enjoyed it. Very delicious combo. The churasco was cooked to order and soft. The staff looks inexperienced and could use some training on details like pouring beer and making sure proper utensils are given depending on dish served. It did not bother me much since it’s a new restaurant and can be expected. The executive chef, Rolando, came out to greet us and ask of the food. That was very welcoming. The manager was there preparing for tomorrow’s big day and failed to greet us. In a establishment like this all customers want to feel important. I will definitely be back with others to eat and I’m glad there is a new restaurant to patronize in Homestead. I am looking forward to a happy hour and drink specials ?
Review Walking in I was greeting and welcomed to my table. The menu is simple with excellent choices from fresh ceviches to mouthwatering flatbreads. The drink selection is fairly reasonable with good prices, I’d like to see if they did have any specials or happy hour tho. Nonetheless, the menus is not overwhelming. The restaurant looks modern and feels calm and not overwhelming with bright lights and odd colors. It feels like if I was eating someplace in Brickell or Mid-Town having that elegant higher class feel. The seats are comfortable and the tables spacious enough to have 2-4 people with no issue on space. I also enjoy that there is not many walls or overcrowding in the dining area, making it have a more open relaxing feel to the space. The manager on duty tonight is Cesar, great guy with amazing customer service. You can tell he enjoys his job and cares about what he does; which he shows in every way possible while working. The wait for the food is fair taking in account it is a new place so things are still to get better than what it is now. I orders the Lomo Saltado prices at $18.00 The food tasted great. The steak was savory, the vegetables were not over or undercooked, the rice was perfectly wet enough to not make it feel like oatmeal and the taste was worth the small wait. Every bite was delicious. I didn’t end up ordering dessert since I was in a small hurry. Overall, the atmosphere was pleasant and comfortable, no loud children, obnoxious music, and nasty kitchen or bathroom sells. The food looks and taste great and the service is great! Very much recommend this place. Even tho it is a little bit on the budget side, it’s amazing. Come by and see for yourself, you will leave very satisfied.
Been living in homestead for quiet a while a never really found a good ceviche spot till now. Just happened to be passing by and saw this spot with writing on the wall literally in big letters CEVICHE. So stopped sat outside cause of this covid19 thing going on, and what can I say very good ceviche nice n fresh good portion actually filled me up, not spicy kinda how I really like it but besides that I will be coming again for some ceviche, the best so far I 've had in homestead...price was normal for a ceviche that size, I had the MIXTO CEVICHE, and wifey had the HOMESTEAD CEVICHE ...ironically called.... both were very flavorful. Cant wait to go again...
The decor was on point. The sangria was very good. The waitress took forever, she had a big table. Seriously. The ribeye was 30 dollars, and bland, no seasoning or taste even as medium well...the fancy mashed potatoes they advertise taste like grainy boxed mashed potatoes with lemon juice on it. They werent creamy at all. No lie people. The wings were ok but dry. This food was not that great. It came close to cold. I was the 5th person to not eat the ribeye steak.
