The waiting time for the party of two on Wednesday night at 6PM was 30 minutes and can up to 1-2 hours depending on the size of the party. Parking is difficult. That evening they had already sold on their skalopps. We ordered Clam Chowder, the tasty but light on seafood taste, although they use razor shells. The baked heald was moist and house salad had fresh green. One thing remarkable was light served on vegetables with Entrée that can be discretion due to the supply chain or cooking. Hostess and servers were friendly and welcoming. Server was attentive to notice when a Gastlachs was cooked over medium seldom and replaced with a properly cooked salmon.
It was hard to eat a place in Homer, but golly we got it right when we went to this restaurant! It was nice and quiet compared to the Ruckus outside the promenade filled with tourists. Especially the food was absolutely delicious, and every dish we saw coming from the kitchen made our mouthwater. I took the grilled sampler, and it was so good that I had received a second order. Do not fit the seafood served here!
If you like to have potato soup....that's what you'll get when you order the clam chowder. It is not worth the 45+ minutes to wait for a seat. The staff was tired and looked overwhelmed. We had to cheer up the waitress
Cool looking restaurant and good vibe, but ultimately disappointing. Got the halibut because, it’s Homer, it’s gotta be as good as it gets. The flavor was good, but the fish was over cooked and dry. At $41 for a small filet, I expected perfection. I had better halibut at the Anchorage airport for half the price.
