Derry's Family - Hollywood

This charming diner truly lives up to its reputation as a cozy family restaurant. I visited in the morning when it was bustling, but luckily, I found a spot without having to wait. The staff was attentive, and my waitress was excellent. My breakfast was delicious, arrived quickly, and was reasonably priced—about $10 for a complete meal with coffee. Next time, I'm eager to try the omelet I saw; it looked tempting! I ordered French toast with two eggs on toast and sausage. I would say it's comparable to typical diner food, but it feels like it's a step above the usual diners. I haven't sampled any of the other specialties or main dishes yet, so my insights are somewhat limited.

Nice little business with great food. The French toast was amazing as it is and does not need any additional syrup. The food was quickly prepared and collection was seamless. The conjured beef was too spicy for my pleasure and more hash than beef. Everything else was perfect!

It was a little waiting to get space as it is a popular place. When I was here for the first time, I ordered the fried Tilapia with grits and eggs while my Bf ordered the salmon croquettes. Tilapia was great, eggs and casting were fine. Salmon croquettes were a little bland, but still good. Pancakes were light and fluffy. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. I would definitely come back to try other things on the menu.

We were looking for a good house cooked tasting breakfast....and we found it at Derry's! The place is small and picturesque, which was great for us. We ordered our food with our beautiful server Lynn. While waiting We noticed that people come and go, this is certainly a sign that the food is good!! We got our food (no picture of hungry fried snaps and dimples, shrimps and dimples, French toast and sausage compounds; the homemade cookies were also good. We left the feeling of being satisfied and talking about our next visit. I'm so often over here, now I definitely have good taste buds memories of Derry's.

This food was soooooo good. Can't wait to go again and may even start going there once a week.
