He was very nice and helpful as we placed our order. We ordered a Shack Pack, Salmon Tacos combo and 2 crab cakes. The total was surprisingly $56.99. The ketchup packets were all dirty and slimy feeling. We sat ourselves. The table was clean. The bathroom was clean. The food came fairly quick. However, it was disappointing. The portions were small, too small to come on a pan. Although the pieces were small, Blackend Salmon Tacos with jalapeño salsa is the only thing that was good. The potato salad is for the mustard lovers. The hushpuppies were hard. The fish was 1 fried unseasoned clump. We had 1 spicy and 1 regular crabcake. The regular one tasted like it was only seasoned with lemon juice. They spicy one tasted the same just cooked in a batter with a hint of spice. If you like bland to mild tasting food, this is the place for you.
The menu prices and choices are listed differently online then in store. Had the menu online pulled up and cashier was like I don 't know why it says that. Place was empty when we arrived. It was pretty clean. A few spots had food and trash left in seats. Bathroom was clean aswell as drink station. I enjoyed the fish taco, but it was basic. Lettuc cheese shrimp and sauce. Spicy sauce was tasty. Shrimp was delish. Hushpuppies yummy. My teen son did not enjoy the chicken sandwich he ordered. Fries looked good but weren 't crispy. Overall not bad, but I wasn 't very impressed. Price . Atlease you could get free refills on the drinks. Wish they would make their own tarter sauce. Just felt very chain like. I have eaten here in the past. Feel like it use to be a bit better.Kid-friendliness: Good choices on kids menu.
Nashville hot has a bite but isn't overly spicy. I had to take the top bun off and eat some of the Mahi before eating it like a sandwich.Friendly staff in a laid-back beachy atmosphere.
Worst experience ever! Stop in on my way home from work in all of that hollyspring traffic... ordered shrimp and crab po boy however, that's not what I got, got all the way home sat down to eat and I had a shrimp sandwich. I called the to explain that I didn't get what I paid for, I was told to bring the sandwich back and they would give me crabmeat, I explained that I live 25 to 30 minutes away and I wouldn't be able to make it back, the manager asked me for my name and said that she would write in their book and I could redeem another sandwich next time I came back. Unfortunately they lied cause when I went back the next week to redeem the sandwich I was told, they tried contacting me to tell me, I had until the next day to bring bk the shrimp sandwich to redeem the crab and shrimp sandwich. Needless to say I never received a call from them, they didn't want to make it right! Only argue inwhich, I didn't have the time or energy, I over paid for the shrimp sandwich. I should of taken a few other people advice and kept going. I will never spend another dime at this unprofessional establishment!!! The food really isn't all that good.
We love the Skrimp shack! We have been visiting the Holly Springs location as we have since moved. My family and I order take out here often! We used to visit the Cary location often as well. The atmosphere at the Cary location is great! We dine in at that location. The Holly Springs location is fine but not as nice, visually pleasing and open as the Cary location. The food is delicious at both locations though! We usually order the flounder sandwich or the chicken sandwich meal (sandwich, fries or hushpuppies and drink). It's really a great deal under 10 bucks and the quality of food is wonderful. Highly recommend!
