I love the idea of not going into the store to shop because, let's face it, grocery shopping is over rated. I have never had an issue with the quality of produce, meat, dairy, frozen foods... matter of fact, their meats are awesome. The employees are very friendly but as most of you do, they make mistakes too. My last order for pickup was missing items 3 days later I realized it. Called them they filled the order for the missing items free. Now is that good service for a human mistake, yes it is I'll continue to support local.
Getting more and more disappointed with Martin’s. I am going to start having to shop elsewhere. Slowly you are getting rid of organic items over time. Items that I use daily and there are no other options to replace them. Soy milk? Really? No other soy milk that’s organic to offer? You got rid of an entire organic isle for alcohol which I had to deal with and now getting rid of the little organic items that you do carry. Yet you are keeping stuff that no one ever buys. I don’t get it. Very disappointed customer here.
As a customer of Martin's for 20 years plus and a former employee I am infuriated with my visit today. I was in the self service checkout line with my husband. One item didn't stand properly, so the gal that works the cash register at the self scanner came over and fixed the problem. She then Hoovered over for me for the rest of my order. Almost $88.00 dollars worth later she's calling someone over from customer service, telling them that I'm trying to steal. That customer se
Your manager, Ryan, rudely confronted my daughter and me last week regarding not wearing a mask upon entry into your store. He flat out asked both of us if there was a medical condition that required us to not have a mask on. Legally, he had no right to ask, and legally we don’t have to even answer that. (HIPPA laws). The boy at the door tried to physically stop us from entering (he was standing in front of the doors and didn’t want to move out of the way). For a store that I used to shop at several times a week, I will now drive a couple extra miles and go into Altoona to Weis and Target for all of my shopping needs. I have told this to many other people who will also be more than happy to shop and spend their money elsewhere.
I had a terribly embarrassing situation happen at Martin 's. I was with my 13 year old brother picking up wine for my mother. He was trying to order pizza but had bad reception so he stepped outside. When I walked up to the counter to pay, Bill (who would not tell me his full name) demanded my brother show his ID. I was willing to show Bill my ID, of course, but told him my brother doesn 't have an ID. Bill refused to sell me the wine because he felt we were acting suspicious. What 13 year old drinks Chardonnay? I went to customer service to speak to the store leader and Bill followed me there. He refused to let me see the store leader and embarrassed me in front of customers and cashiers. Bill was condescending and rude. Needless to say, I won 't be shopping at Martin 's again. Muffins here aren 't bad though.
