Lovely local vegetarian restaurant down a smaller street off the main rd. Seems to be run single handidly by one woman who takes your order, then prepares and cooks the food freshly for you. We Initially came for a soup for breakfast but got carried away and ordered loads! Pho, a mushroom soup, fried tofu and a mock sautéed chicken dish. (incredible! Everything was prepared quickly and was delicious. We can’t wait to go back. They also have an extensive 'whole page ' dessert menu with things like deep fried bananas, Thorn leaf cake, as well as other local sweets. Until now, I’d never seen such a good dessert selection at a Vietnamese vegetarian/vegan restaurant here. Highly recommended!!
Had the spring rolls and the rice paper stank of fish. bun noodles was tiny portion. Cheap and cheerful but don’t expect much
Friendly service. Great food. Always quiet and is on a fairly quiet road, very nice to get out of the hustle and bustle. Especially recommend mock Tuna banh mi!
Looking if the other reviews, it seems the restaurant recently changed their menu. I didn't find the food boring. Besides the usual fried rice, vegetables and tofu, there is a lot of vegan seafood! I tried the calamari, prawn and squid. I won't be able to tell you if the taste is close to the real thing, but I found all of it very tasty. Also, the chicken is like no other I have ever had : Yes, most of the portions are too small. I find it really depends what exactly you order. The salad with prawn was big enough for me and so was the dish with squid. The place is nothing fancy, but the food is worth trying :
