Zur Kastanie - Hodenhagen

Schnitzel and Bratkartoffel super. Restaurant something came in the years, but fits the host and the fair prices

I can't say anything about the quality of the restaurant. We would have liked to have dinner there on a Saturday night, but unfortunately it didn't happen. We entered the chestnut, there was a note with opening hours there, which suggests that is open. When we opened the door to the first, smaller guest room, the host was there and a table with guests. Two more tables were reserved. On our question whether a table is still free, a head shake came. When we walked, we noticed a second guest room that would have been completely free. Too bad we had to look around for an alternative.

A very cute, very well-run restaurant. The owner is very friendly and accommodating. The food is really delicious and good enough to get rich. We were super satisfied and happy to come back

The food was deliciously fresh and large portions. Good atmosphere. Very good price performance ratio original.

It doesn't look really inviting. The furnishings and the premises have already come in the years. The menu could be more extensive. The food wasn't good.
