Le Chat Botté ルシャボテ - Himeji

I enjoyed my first dinner in my trip. The best is you can chat with chef and he will give you good advise in Himeji. C’est un très bonne expérience, chef! Je reviendrai un jour ! YH

Very friendly French chef (an oxymoron I know); great French cuisine, great service. Really excellent bread made onsite, the butter as well even.

Absolutely fabulous meal created by a kind and talented French chef. A multi-course meal took us from a spectacular butternut squash soup through to salmon tartare to a steak whose sauce I’d want to bathe in. Even the dessert was fantastic! Every bite was a delight. A must-eat in Himeji!

A most pleasant experience. The owner was very accommodating as we had some in the party who had food particulars. One of the highlights of the whole trip to Japan. I was able to try Yamazaki Whiskey and this too was awesome.

A very pleasant atmosphere with great tasting french food. The owners (couple one french, the other Japanese) are friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed our meal tremendously and fully recommend eating here. It’s also located between the station and the castle making for a good stop from the sightseeing.
