Fishcamp On Broad Creek - Hilton Head

My wife says they have the best fried shrimp she has ever eaten. And I love it too.

Can't say enough great things! GET THE PAN-SEARED TRIPLE TALE!!! SO good I didn't even get a chance to take a picture of it! Couldn't stop eating it!

Huge disappointment after a great visit 2 years ago. Chaos at the host stand, ignored despite arriving first. Then seated far from the water even though we requested it and patiently waited. Only saving grace was our kind waiter and the decent lobster bisque. What a letdown! After a great meal two years ago, this visit was a disaster. I put my families name on the wait list and parked, I received a text that our table was ready. I patiently waited at the top of podium while several hostess were organizing menus and buzzing around. A woman jumped in front of my mom from the bar and announced she received a text message her table was ready then a lady ran up from behind and made the same announcement regarding her party. The hostesses began to seat the two parties that jumped in front then, my husband frustrated explain we had arrived with text in hand first. The eldest hostess then ushered us all in and said under her breath to me they weren’t going to run out of food. Unnecessary. We requested and waited for waterfront and were seated farthest from the water, while there was a visible open table Waterside the entire duration of our meal. Fortunately the waiter was kind and patient with my elderly mother and her dietary restrictions. My tuna tartar was not fresh, it was oxidized with dark flesh, and covered in soy sauce with none of the other flavors present that were outlined on the menu and left a lot to be desired. My lobster bisque was perfect and my family enjoyed their selections.

We docked here on our maiden voyage and sat at the outside bar. We had Bri as a bartender and she was fantastic! This has always been one of our favorite places on HHI.

I feel lucky to have found this restaurant. The food was fantastic, the service was great and the views were to die for. They have nice sitting areas looking out over broad creek. Also some corn holes. Definitely sit outside weather permitting. We came twice during our visit. For lunch we had the shrimp burger with the homemade chips. Yum!! Came back to hear the music tonight and we shared the fried shrimp dinner and fried flounder dinner. I've never been a fan of Cole slaw but theirs was delicious. I'll definitely be coming back on my next visit!!
