Miyo's Restaurant And Izakaya Bar

I had an extremely disappointing experience at this restaurant. The food was subpar. The squid tempura was mostly batter, while the shrimp tempura was so soggy that it hung limply over the plate. The salad dressing was everywhere, making a mess on the plate, and the sesame chicken was dry and unappetizing. Although the restaurant has made some lovely updates to its decor, it really needs to focus on improving the quality of the food. After all, that's what we came for.

It’s always a delight to dine at this restaurant. It’s definitely one of our top choices!

As regular customers of Miyos, we have a good understanding of what to expect. However, this time, the wait for our food was unusually long, and we weren’t given any explanation. The shrimp ramen, which was marked as a special, turned out to have noodles that didn’t resemble traditional ramen, and the broth didn't taste like the typical ramen either. We left feeling somewhat disappointed.

The miso soup was lukewarm, as was most of the rest of the meal. The ginger ice cream was great.
