Maui Tacos Hilo

At the first meal in Maui tacos. The sauces are very tasteful, spices section has tons of addons. Place was clean, service was fast. Didn't really care much about the Steak Taco, but Saucen made it super tasteful, my friend ordered Nachos the were delicious. We're coming back.

We ordered the chicken tassellia and Mahi fish tacos, rating them 4 out of 5. The fish tacos were fantastic—definitely some of the best I've ever had. The black beans were also excellent. The Chipotle salsa stood out as the best among her salsas. However, my husband felt that the queen was below average.

Surprisingly very good. Want to see nutritional values, but taste smart. Good.

It's not a bad option if you're craving a mall margarita. The dishes that were meant to be served hot were indeed hot, and those that were supposed to be cold were chilled properly. The tortillas and taquitos had a nice crispness to them, and the salsa was tasty. However, the other flavors were a bit bland. The staff were friendly. I'd consider returning if I find myself at the mall and in need of a meal, but there are definitely better Mexican restaurants in town.

Overall, it's a solid option for mall food. They offer alcohol, which is a nice touch. The salsa bar features a delicious pineapple salsa, along with a variety of other choices. However, the prices are a bit high for the portion sizes.
