In this restaurant there is a large selection of food. the server are nice and friendly and provide useful information during dinner. still eating is pretty bad. the meat is badly cooked and dry. for the main courses most of them are overcooked and the sauce is terrible. I have tried the chicken in lemon sauce on Monday, the sauce is bitter and salty, the spicy are quite strange.
The food is kept warm and beautiful, but the quality is still room for improvement. the chicken with lemon sauce is the worst of the meal. the lemon sauce has strange taste and odour with salted lemon. the fries are not crispy at all. the shiu mai is a must eat and the only proper dish.
I really enjoy going to that restaurant. When I was young, I would always beg my parents to take me there.
Everyone is acquainted to one or two Chinese buffet available across the vast restaurant fields of London, but nestled in the quiet part of west London is Tai pan, an authentic Chinese restaurant with a vast variety of eastern and oriental dishes and an open pan option where your food is prepared right before your eyes, the glamour, beautiful array of colours and an atmosphere to boot makes Tai Pan a must go for flavour hunters. Recommended is the “Steak in Black Bean sauce”, a taste sensation that would definitely leave you wanting more. The restaurant also provides a decent selection of beverages and spirits and also a desert menu that would leave you wanting nothing more.
