Froyo Joe's Highland Village

This place is a bait and switch. What Italian ice? Plus the employee there was out to lunch…. Since the owner asked I paid 24 bucks and some some change in cash. Two 20 dollar bills. My kids and I also got skipped since the employee was in la la land. I had to ask for a bag 3 times and I don’t remember how many time to get lids then spoons. When I asked about ices I got a blank look.. also just an update I personally had the mint chocolate chip which got chucked in the garbage as it had an aftertaste/smell of mildew.

First time in this establishment. It's a little different in that it's self serve and it's pay by weight of the sundae you make. I have to watch my sugars and cholesterol so at first I thought this might not be the place for me but I did find a non fat no sugar frozen Strawberry Yogurt option and then 2 toppings including fresh Strawberries to put on it. There where a ton of choices including sprinkles, various cookie crumbs, crumbled candy bars, nuts,gummy worms and bears. You name it they probably had it. The thing ended up being just over $10. The person behind the counter said it was $2.00 per pound. But I think they meant ounces. I know I didn't make a three or four pound sundae! The cup wasn't even half full when I weighed it. I don't remember seeing the weight. But it did taste pretty good.

Workers were very friendly and funny, outside seating was great, and learned they’re family owned, love that for them

PROs: Friendly and kind customer service! Clean outside and inside the establishment, no sticky floors or residue on surfaces. Plenty of flavors and toppings to choose from. Posted and detailed nutrition information is very helpful (Gluten free options). Plenty of customer parking spots mixed with 'posted ' resident parking spots.CONs: Outdoor seatings needs a power wash to remove cobwebs under the tables and there were a couple wasp nests on the building walls.We visited the place twice. And both experiences had been great.

Lots of options to choose of Yogurt flavors. Not so many toppings available, at least fruits. The location is very clean and staff is very helpful.
