Peggs On The Boulevard - High Ridge

The concept of a sports bar combined with a café like Panera intrigued me, so I decided to try Peggs while in the area for lunch. I wasn't sure what to expect and mistakenly thought it would be a diner. Instead, you order at the counter, pay, grab your drinks, get a number, and find a seat. The food was good, but it was a typical Sunday afternoon scene: filled with noisy children and sports fans glued to the game. One particularly boisterous woman was energetically throwing a ball around with her kids, creating quite the racket amidst diners trying to enjoy their meals. It seemed like the restaurant was leaning into the lively atmosphere that High Ridge is known for, but personally, I wouldn’t return. While it may cater to some, it felt too loud and chaotic for a peaceful dining experience.

We visited on November 16th for a family dinner, and it was hands down the best meal we've had in a long time. The food arrived surprisingly quickly for such a large group. The pizza was outstanding. Plus, the staff was incredibly friendly.

Met my husband at Peggs on his lunch break and had a great experience as well as great, hot food!! Fast and friendly service from all of the staff. Have had food from Peggs before as well and they never disappoint. Will be back again for another great experience!! :

I'm feeling a bit conflicted about my experience. I ordered the Spicy Chicken Pizza, which featured grilled chicken, onions, and a lovely blend of cheeses. The overall flavor was quite pleasant; however, there was a complete lack of spice. Seriously, not even a hint of heat. The sauce used was a very thin, generic hot sauce, but it didn't have any kick at all. If you're going to promote a spicy chicken pizza, a bit of heat would definitely be appreciated.

I picked up an order for my office. Everyone loved sandwiches there, one of my employees even said that one of the best sandwiches he had in the area of St. Louis. He got the hot roast beef sandwich on the garlic cheese bread. Great service was all marked and easy to handle. We ordered 15 sandwiches.
