Castleton Fish Chip Shop - High Peak

The service was excellent and the fish and chips were classic and delicious, especially with the salt, vinegar, and tomato ketchup. The cod was tasty and the chips were thick and satisfying.

Oh my goodness. This place has the best fish, chips, and curry in the UK! Everything was fresh and served piping hot. The fish tasted like it had been caught today. We waited in line outside for 15 minutes, but it was definitely worth it. Great job, guys! By the way, they close at 7 on Fridays, but even at 7:30, people were still queuing up outside.

Excellent. Visited Castleton for a walk and to visit the caverns. We walked past the chip shop on the way out and decided to stop on our way back. Tucked away in a back street with limited opening hours. We had Fish and Chips which were lovely. Freshly cooked and tasty.

Limited opening hours but well worth it. After a week in this lovely Peak District village, we really fancied fish and chips and this place did not disappoint. Superb customer service, delicious fish, chips, scampi, sausages, fritters and mushy peas and excellent value they threw in extras as were closing. Easy five stars
