Pepperoni Calzone. Fair price and one of the better I had in Connecticut. I'm looking forward to tasting her pizza.
We were on our way to RI and needed to grab some lunch. We were so happy we picked AJ's. The staff was very helpful and pleasant. I asked the waitress what she recommended and she said their grilled chicken was marinated and made in house. I got a grilled chicken wrap and it was delicious! My husband and son had some plain cheese pizza which was also VERY good. We will definitely make it a point to stop again on our next trip.
My grandfather and I always used to stop by to enjoy the Genoa grinding machine and a nice cold Coke. He grew up in this city, and this place was always special to us before we headed back home to St. Louis. Sadly, he passed away last month, but I will always cherish this memory of our time together.
Excellent food, served quickly and with a friendly attitude. Be sure to try the burger, calzone, and grilled chicken salad!
