The Greyhound Bengeo - Hertford

I had a wonderful evening at the Greyhound. The food and drinks were fantastic and reasonably priced. The staff provided excellent service, offering the perfect amount of attention without being intrusive, and they were well-informed about the menu. One of the staff members, Lesley, even went out of her way to give our friends a ride home when they couldn’t find a taxi—truly above and beyond! I can’t wait to visit again soon. Service: Dine in.

I stopped by after taking my dog for a walk. The staff were extremely friendly, and the menu looks fantastic. We enjoyed a bowl of Thai crackers with our drinks. I’ll definitely be back to dine here soon! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We visited the Greyhound last Friday and enjoyed some delightful beer, wine, and Thai food! Unfortunately, we were unable to find a taxi home as they were all occupied. It was pouring rain outside, and "Lesley," an employee at the Greyhound, kindly offered to drive us home! This generous gesture exceeded our expectations for service. Awful experience, never going back. 3 barmaids stop around rolling their eyes and sniggering at customers behind their backs the whole evening. One elderly man asked for some milk as he was suffering from stomach issues and it helped him try enjoy his meal, they wouldn’t serve him. They just laughed at the request. Another customer went to co-op to get him some so that he could stay for his meal. They also sniggered at another customer who arrived to pick up a takeaway and was made wait over 30 mins. He started to get annoyed waiting but they just had no care or concern. The service in the restaurant was extremely slow, waited 45 mins for the starters and they all came different times. Food was nice when it eventually arrived but wasn’t worth the experience.
