Desi Breakfast Club - Herndon

This was an unpleasant experience for me. It is my first time coming in to eat at the restaurant but not the first time trying their food. The premises was clean, food has been okay or good but my experience here at the restaurant was disappointing. We arrived at the restaurant for our dinner at 6:30pm and the staff’s behavior was a little indifferent and unfriendly. They were NOT rude but still it showed their displeasure at their customers arriving a half hour before closing. It might be a long day of work but it’s not very nice to feel unwelcome when people want to enjoy a meal at your restaurant.

Have been coming here since they started out. Breakfast is consistently good: halwa puri platter is decent given the local options, the parathas are spot on, and always enjoy the veggie omelette. The nihari is okay, but always enjoy the lassi and chai.

This is one of my top 3 food spots to show friends/family who are visiting Northern Va. all of the food options, getting greeted personally at the door by the owners, and the ambiance, are all above satisfaction! Oh and the chai too!
