フィードバックを提供するIt’s really hard to mess up Chinese food but this place does it. I tried this place twice and both times were very bad experiences. The generals tso’s chicken was all breading and you’d be lucky to bite into chicken. The spring rolls were all skin and barely, if any, filling. The crispy beef was also a little funky like too much baking soda or something. They used breaded chicken for their Kung Pao chicken which is a first for me.
As an avid fan of egg foo young, I'm always on the lookout for the best spot to satisfy my cravings. While the restaurant's website didn't mention this beloved dish, I decided to take a chance and check out their physical location. To my delight, they had it on the menu and I couldn't wait to dive in.Let me just say, this restaurant blew my expectations out of the water! As someone who has tried countless Chinese restaurants in NOVA, this one stands head and shoulders above the rest. The food quality was simply impeccable I would confidently give it a 10/10 rating. The egg foo young was cooked to perfection, with a delicious taste that left me wanting more. The gravy was the perfect complement, hitting all the right notes and taking the dish to the next level. And what's even more impressive is that the quality of the gravy is indicative of the overall standard of their sauces and soups I can confidently say they're all fantastic. We also opted to upgrade to the fried rice, and I have to say, it was worth every penny. This was no ordinary rice dish it was cooked to perfection in a wok, with the ideal combination of veggies, onions, and egg. The flavor was unbeatable, and I savored every bite.Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant and would gladly come back again. From the prompt and friendly service to the fresh, made to order dishes, everything about my experience was exceptional. If you're looking for the best Chinese food in NOVA, look no further this place has it all!
Wonderfully tasty! First time that I've had brown fried rice that I adore and love. The soup is so good we order extra. Thank you Chen's Kitchen!Vegetarian options: While we are not vegetarian, they had a whole health menu and lots of vegetarian options.Dietary restrictions: They had brown-fried rice for those watching Glycemic Index
Usually this place is just okay... But the other day for lunch they knocked it out of the park. Had GSC... Asked for it xxxxxxspicy and they delivered. But more importantly, the chicken was good quality. Egg rolls are trash as are their soups most times. Never left a review before for this place.. only doing so now because I wonder if they changed management or stepped up their food quality (Not for the egg rolls or the soup just the primary dish).
Very unsatisfactory experience here yesterday. I ordered online for lunch for my wife 's birthday and went for pickup 20 minutes later. When I arrived I was the only customer and even had to wait a couple of minutes before anyone even came from the back to wait on me, but acted unexpectedly that I had an order pending and told me that I had to wait awhile. 2 other people came after me ordering and receiving their food while I still patiently waited, even being told that my egg foo yung was holding up my order???? After waiting 25 minutes after arriving I finally received my order (45 minutes after placing it). When I got home I found that things ordered little spicy were VERY spicy, but the killer was the egg foo yung was burned charcoal black. Obviously they missed my order and rushed through making it, though haphazardly. My wife 's birthday lunch turned out to be a disappointment and an embarrassment. Very unprofessional on your part Chen 's. Thanks but no thanks!
