Zane's - Hermosa Beach

I am a huge fan of Zanes, but they missed the mark last night! I invited a friend who had never been to Zanes and she was rudely treated upon check-in because she was five minutes early and they told her to wait outside because the restaurant wasn't open yet, even though the front door was open. We let that go and proceeded to our table and service was a little bit slow for an early weeknight reservation. We ordered a few great happy hour specials and then the scallops which were not great. When we notified the server we received and I'm sorry you don't like it. No offer to replace it with anything else or if they could remake the dish. I will say that 40% was taken off the entree price since that we had tried the entrée and part it was consumed.

Absolutely delicious drinks and food. The decor was super fresh and modern with a coastal feel. Went for my father-in-law's birthday and it was terrific. Highly recommend for any occasion or just because. Will definitely check out for happy hour next!

Zane’s just started serving brunch! We love their happy hour/dinner and we’re so excited to test brunch. It exceeded expectations. We ordered the Benedict Pizza, steak and eggs, brunch sandwich with truffle tots, donuts, and a pancake for the toddler. As well as some delicious drinks for the adults Negroni’s and Aperol Spritz’s. Everything was scrumptious and the service was on point.

Sea Bass Scallops were great. Bread and roasted artichoke were equally great. Service was attentive and friendly. Noice level allowed for conversation. Prices were less than expected for food of such quality.

Atmosphere was great went in for Sunday brunch and the food was delicious and very tasty! The staff members are very pleasant and kind! I highly highly recommend this amazing restaurant for brunch and dinner!! ?
