Radici - Hermosa Beach

The service was fantastic and the food was delicious. We visited on a Wednesday at 7pm, so the restaurant was empty and quiet, which we enjoyed. I was worried because one of my friends had been there on a weekend and said the service was very slow and the food was just okay. Perhaps the atmosphere is different on weekends. I will have to return and give it a try on a weekend.

We had a wonderful experience at Radici! The dishes were made with high-quality ingredients and had a clean, fresh taste. My favorites were the garlic loaf, brown sage butter ravioli, and gnocchi. The tiramisu and pancetta desserts were also delicious. The restaurant had a welcoming atmosphere, making us feel like we were among family. It is a hidden gem, located above the street which adds to its ambience. Watching the chefs work in the open kitchen was entertaining. The upscale lighting and decor made the experience even better. We are looking forward to returning!

The food was great as usual. I really enjoyed the watermelon salad and eggplant appetizer.

We started with the caprese salad, fresh tomatoes with creamy burrata. The wagyu polpette were soft in a rich sauce. The chianti classico went well with everything. We then had the tagliatelle in meat sauce. The pasta had a homemade chew. The tenderloin was very tasty, but slightly chewy. It came with mashed potatoes and veggies. Tiramisu for dessert. Excellent. The service was first rate. Very attentive staff. Definitely returning!

Overpriced. No personalized service. No acknowledgement of a special occasion (birthday). Waiter instructed us s soon as greeted us that the chef requires compete order be placed at once and they will course it out. Timing of courses was terrible. Still had appetizer when entree arrived. Would not recommend. This must be widely known now tho. Restaurant was practically empty at prime 7pm. Meal mediocre and not worth the price.
