Saigon Asian - Hereford

This family-owned Asian restaurant offers a diverse array of dishes from various cultures, including Chinese, Thai, and Vietnamese cuisine. I recently visited from San Francisco, and I must say, their pho is far superior to what I've had back home. I also sampled their egg rolls, which were delicious! I highly recommend giving this place a try. I'll definitely return to explore more items on the menu during my next trip to California.

On Saturday, June 5, 2021, I called to place a to-go order. The woman on the phone informed me that they were already closed at 7:55 PM. When I asked what their official closing time was, she couldn't provide an answer. I pointed out that Google says they close at 9:00 PM. She insisted that they actually close at 8:00 PM and that everything was already put away. It reminded me of the good old days when restaurants accepted orders right up until closing time, then locked the doors before shutting down for the night.

Always a great experience! I really enjoy how they pair lime with the rice dishes.

First off, harsh food critique from Louisiana here. I visted ALL the other Asian cuisine here and very subpar. I ordered to go, the Egg Drop was really really fantastic, lots of places get it wrong with no flavor. The fried gyoza(dumplings) were great with the sauce! I ordered combo spicy chicken and shrimp fried rice to play it safe, and it left amazed. It was a perfect spice level, little bead of sweat on the forehead. The flavor was amazing and unexpected with a large serving size. Hard to find great Asian cuisine and I didn't expect it in this dusty west Tx cow town. Do yourself a favor and skip the other and order from here, food is made with pride and comes with flavor. I was met with friendly staff st drive window. Long review and usually skip them, but this was worth the time. Now ordered with no hesitation!
