So we where all booked in to go for dinner on a Saturday night at 7pm and then decided we needed to change the time to 830. I called up and the guy at the end of the phone was mega friendly and with no hesitation changed our booking time. When we arrived staff where really friendly and on the ball. They supplied great convenient vegetarian options and a wide selection of traditional dishes. I had the lobster, Liz had Mushroom and filo pastry. We both thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Waiter was friendly and quick with orders. Desert was amazing, honey mousse and honey comb. Would highly recommend this lovely retro style country pub, with great service and great food!

We are regularly here for our Posh Lunch Club. eating is fantastic with very generous portions. the wee is excellent and the personal is amazing. I would always recommend this jewel of a place.

Great eating, excellent menu choices, well presented by employees who know the meaning of customer service. well done! the music was of course fabulous, pete lincoln showed his immense musical skills and his humor and professionalism saved the day when the C.B's P.A.system failed him. his second set, when the faulty loudspeaker was switched off, allowed him to execute and not be distracted. about everything it was a beautiful evening and I would recommend the music evenings or just a great eating.

Beautiful place, great eating, hopefully I will go back soon......and they also have jazz evenings. highly recommended.
