You go out their way to make sure you are happy. I asked about corn bread instead of a bread for my sandwich and they made it happen (it cost more and I would probably have got the dish for less, but I only enjoyed it the same). The sweet tea is perfect (it is sweet but not too sweet)! You also know how to cook white beans.
The menu stated that we would receive 2 pints of sauce for the price of a pound of meat. However, when we got home, we found that we had only received 3.7 fl ounces of sauce instead of the advertised 32 fl ounces. This left us very disappointed. We decided to return to the restaurant to address the issue, but they were quite resistant to resolving it. Eventually, they provided us with an additional 6 fl ounces of sauce, but this left me questioning the reliability of their menu and the quality of their customer service. While I really enjoy their food, it’s not worth it if I can't get what I ordered.
We stopped to get ribs and pork grill plate and the food and service was absolutely phenomenal I recommend this place if you like grill you will love this place
You might be deceived by its appearance, but this cozy spot has been around since 1965, and the food definitely did not disappoint! We ordered baby back ribs, beans, and coleslaw. The rib portion was generous, and the ribs were packed with meat and topped with a fantastic sauce. The staff may have seemed a bit grumpy, but they were attentive and genuinely nice. It felt like we experienced a bit of Southern hospitality here in the North. I highly recommend this place!
Very delicious! First time here and worth the drive! Everyone spoke, and was on top of service excellence. Turkey was moist, dirty (spicy hot) sausage dog was so tasty. We will definitely be back.
