Šašlik - Helsinki

The venue is great. A special place in Helsinki. Drinks with eastern food is what to expect. Vodka tasting is a must.

This is by far the best restaurant in Helsinki. You enter and find yourself in a different world. I take every visitor here. It has always been a success. Try Ivan's sword! Champagne is oped with a sword, which outs quite special.

Atmosphere place. Food is good , but taste feels not authentically Russian and overpriced. Also service was bad, glass was broken in our table and we needed to catch some glass pieces by ourselves. Also vine bottles were brought to us , but we needed to ask so them can be open. And this place has name Saslik, but if you look for some be ready so they have only one , and it's pricey and can be only ordered for multiple persons

Great value for money! Belly full, good food, nice champagne, great decor, friendly staff, the desert excellent baked alaska style dish is YUMMY! . Our favorite dish is the lamb chops. I wish they had gluten free blinis and pelmenis. My teens love this restaurant all of us highly recommend it! Kudos!

Five stars just for the experience. It's like a scene from Dr. Zhivago. The whole place is done up in an ornate early 20th century furnishings. The crowd.... well they're not from Kansas. This was our 2nd trip to Finland in two years and our goal was to intro a newbie into the Saslik experience. We all had the vodka samplers; Blinis w/ 3 types of roe, a large plate of Russian delicacies and I had the bear stroganoff. Have fun!
