Københavneren - Helsingoer

We found this local restaurant during a day trip to Helsingør. We decided to try a local restaurant that served traditional Danish food. We ordered the fish and chips, the roast pork with pickled cabbage and pork loin with onions. We were pleasantly surly by the quality of the food and the reasonable prices. Would definitely recommend this restaurant for any visitors that want traditional Danish fare.

This is a excellent choice for a perfect picture of a proper Danish lunch spot and bar. The menu makes it easy for non-native speakers, photos and English language descriptions. Cozy clean it is in one of the older structures and reflects an old world charm. I visited in the winter and couldn't take advantage of an outdoor door seating area that looked inviting in otherwise nicer weather.
