Taste Of China - Heckmondwike

Very disappointing watery hot sour soup with chewy meat. Ordered special chow menu had 1 prawn and salt chilli chicken came with no side Dias ,. Asked if the dish should have come with either fried rice or chips to be told rudely we should have checked. Will not use again

The service was very quick, so couple points for that. But unfortunately that was it. The food was extremely disappointing and so tasteless, most boring meal ever had….

Spare rib starter very nice, main of duck in plum sauce completely inedible, with a ridiculous amount of salt in it. Not just over seasoned, it was absolutely awful.

I have been dining at this restaurant for over 3 years now. The quality of the meals can vary, but I have never had a bad experience. The food is always delicious, though sometimes it is better than others – I think this may depend on the chef. The customer service is excellent. My only suggestion would be to go easy on the salt, then it would be nearly perfect.
