Eludae - Healesville

What a pleasant surprise! I wasn't expecting much based on the previous reviews but a friend wanted the Grilled Barramundi on their specials board so we agreed to try it.<br/ <br/ The service very courteous, I was incredibly impressed when one of the young male wait staff noticed an elderly lady with a walking frame approaching the door and went over and held the door open for her.<br/ <br/ You don't see enough of that any more!<br/ <br/ The coffee was good, we had a latte and long black. <br/ <br/ I had the linguini with bacon, avocado and chicken.<br/ Flavor was on point, could have done with a little more avocado but otherwise excellent.<br/ <br/ Friends had the Chicken BLT and the special Grilled Barramundi on rice. Everyone was very pleased.<br/ <br/ Overall, Eludae was excellent. We'd happily come again next time we're up here.

A great cafe! We have been travelling to Healesville over the last 4 yrs to have lunch at this cafe on my husbands day off.. Have always had good quality meals we often get the blt, sumptuous platter or there amazing risotto, staff are lovely and service is always good..can always guarantee a good meal here.. Keep up the good work

We tried this cafe today. I took my two dogs with me as we often do a Sunday walk and coffee on the way back. Our usual place was packed so we tried here. The coffee was hot and very good. The eggs and toast were delish hot tasty and generous portions.No water bowls for doggies though and there could be better service for those seated outdoors . No teaspoon to stir in my sweetener to my coffee. However still a good experience and we'll go back!

Hidden gem. A group of us went to Eludae to welcome an American friend. There were 20 in the group and some required allergy free food. Eludae had a range that suited everyone.The decor is simple but modern with silver walls and maroon modern paintings. Although the venue was small every table was filled and people also came in to take away food.The wait staff were attentive and the food was the right quantity and very tasty. Everyone in the group was pleased with what they ordered. Some did not have room for dessert, so they took it away with them, packaged very nicely.lIf I lived closer to Healesville, I woul definately return here.

Had light breakfast in here. With scrumble eggs and sausage with bread. Was good. Coffee was ok. Nice and calm place. Good service
