These people food really good but they really need to fix their customer service and stop playing with people time
My husband and I ordered for the first time. Coming from NY (where there are Chinese restaurants in every corner) we could say that their food was good. We had the house special fried rice, tso chicken, chicken wings and Lo Mein. The service is good. Every though one order was misunderstood the person on the phone was polite.
I'm not hard to impress, I was looking for lunch. I got the dragon Phoenix with wonton soup. The entree, firstly it was drowned in sauce but that didn't bother me. What bothered me is how can something so wet taste so bland? The shrimp was well cooked but there was only 3 and two or three half shrimps. The chicken was plentiful but bland as well. I asked for no broccoli and still got broccoli, as well as a massive amount of vegetables in an attempt to hide the lack of shrimp. The rice was rice, it was a little overcooked but was alright.Lastly, the soup.... How do you mess that up? The wontons themselves are small, very little meat in them and a lot of dough. They definitely weren't cooked fully either. The broth is broth, nothing impressive.I understand the location is new in the area and I grew up around here, was excited to try it out and I was extremely disappointed. The only redeeming factor about this place is that the staff I saw and spoke to were very friendly.
Seem very nice family run restaurant, nice people, but the food is below standards in the local area even for Hazleton. Coconut chicken was fried with batter, but was soggy and soft. And no it wasn't sitting for long. I literally ordered it, and waited for it. Soggy fried chicken is disgusting.
