Pho Ty II - Hayward

A quiet little corner of this lot lies a treasure trove of pho like none other. The silk smooth noodles the thin-strips of beef, the green onions cilantro, bean sprouts perfect. The beef broth alone is the perfect savory goodness that recharges a body good after a long, exhausting day. The staff were charming and friendly! It's worth your hard earned money for an amazing bowl of pho.

The vegetarian soup was good, nothing fancy. I'm also pretty sure it had chicken in the broth but I was starving. $16If the price hadn't felt like I was being gouged I would have left more stars.

Oh my gosh! Must have been an off day for the cook. As soon as I got the bowl of pho is was way too salty. I usually get water at pho’s that I go to and they usually give me tap. Right off the bat he gave me bottle water to up the price for the overpriced nasty pho. Really tried to eat the pho and just gave up. It really was too salty and they didn’t even put all the ingredients listed in the menu. I told them and they didn’t care so I paid and took off, never to return to this place ever. Shocking how I found a bad pho place.

The service here was almost as bad as the food, which is saying a lot. The broth had no flavor whatsoever, the chicken was hard and tasted at least 3 days old, the shrimp tasted old too. The egg rolls had a disgusting after taste and made them almost inedible. Water apparently isn't free and they only have bottles, which wasn't told to us, i had to ask. The woman was laughing at her phone and not paying attention to anyone at all. She was literally texting as we asked for the bill and she brought it over. The egg rolls and large pho came out to $28. I've never felt like i've wasted so much time and money before. I don't recommend this place to anybody.
