Whiskey Creek Wood Fire Grill - Hays

We always stop here when we travel through Hays. The food is good and the service is outstanding. Hays had done some road “improvements” just in front of Whiskey Creek which makes getting into their parking lot a bit of a nightmare, but keep trying. It's worth it.

Worst service ever! I order a deluxe garden salad with egg, no bacon. Salad comes with noegg, waiter tells me there is no egg, but husband gets a chicken salad with egg. What? Than waiter gets mad because we questioned him. No apologies. Had to call manager over and tell her the story. Never will go back there. I feel waiter needs proper training

We visited with a group of friends and we were seated at two different booths. We ordered are drinks and set and waited for 45 minutes before we left. We asked the waitress 2 times what was going on and were told they were busier than normal.

Not much smoked flavor and rub was also tasteless. Extremely dry.

This should be 0 stars. Service was non existent. Waitress chatted with a friend all about kids play dates while we sat there for 10 minutes. Hostess was snotty because we preferred a table over a booth. Ridiculous.
