フィードバックを提供するUnlike some chicken places that seem to have endless chicken waiting to leave the conveyer belt, sometimes I might have to wait for my order. That being said, I have not had a bad meal from this establishment in Haynesville. They offer fantastic catfish, however it?s not on the drive thru menu! Unlike another local chicken ?dilly? joint, I do not have bad indigestion after eating and the chicken is so delicious. Fries, ehh, a little limpy and better swapped with fried okra or some other side. So glad that that the locals have guided me to some of the better eating establishments, not that there are lots to chose from anymore. Although I started by saying I had to wait for my order, I believe it?s freshly made food done right.
Ordered two four piece fish plates to go. Got one with 4 pieces of fish, 6 hush puppies and no fries. The second one had 4 pieces of fish, no hush puppies, no fries. Neither had any tarter sauce. Ordered one side of beans and rice that was just ok. Ordered one side of coleslaw. After drinking the fluid off, had half a container or less of actual slaw that was decent. Fish was good. Very disappointed in service and quality of the order. Will drive south more to eat here less.
So I have eaten here many times and it has always been good food although the service going through the drive through is slow but this time it was around 30 minutes from the time we ordered until we got our food. It was ridiculous and the food was not good! Not sure what was going on in there??!
This was my first time trying the place and the fried chicken was the near perfection that I had heard about. Crispy fried with a spicy kick, juicy but not greasy. For sides I had the Sweet Corn Grit Cajun Rice. They were both good too. I will definitely come back! Visit #2: On my second visit I opted for the fish and it was good but not great. When I come back it?ll definitely be for the fried chicken.
The hiring of staff could definitely be improved. I placed a large order over the phone, and I feel I should have been informed about the family box add-ons, which would have helped me save some money and been greatly appreciated. Since we didn't receive the rolls I ordered, my food was delayed. After placing my order, I was told it wasn't ready, and I ended up waiting 10 minutes until another employee pointed out my order. Unfortunately, our food was cold when it was finally handed to me. I spent over $60.00 on cold tenders and fries... I won't be coming back!
