Luneburger German Bakery - Haymarket

My final review from my Australia trip last year is for Lüneburger German Bakery.

Dense pretzel for breaksfadt Initially thought it was stale but is actually fresh tasting just dense.

Try the poppyseed cake and enjoy the taste and buzz together. Wash it down with a great coffee and enjoy the building.

This is a pretty busy bakery with a nice selection of both sweet and savoury pastries. I tried the salted pretzel which was okay but not as soft as I would have liked. It is still a nice savoury option to have with your coffee though! The sultana snail was really soft and delicious.

The bread's ok, some good styles with flavour. Seemed chewier than it was supposed to be. Plus it costs which is top tier pricing. Most fancy bakeries are cheaper than this and the fancier supermarket breads are definitely better value. The pastries and prepared sandwiches actually looked like much better value although they're all quite small so maybe not.
