Young Chow Cafe - Haymarket

This restaurant definitely deserves more attention. It offers comforting, affordable, traditional Chinese food that hits the spot. The service is prompt and friendly, the portions are generous, and everything is delicious! On tough days, their meals are so comforting they might even bring a tear to your eye. The crab rangoons are a standout—perfectly hot, crunchy, and not overly sweet. The chicken fried rice is loaded with chunks of chicken, and they conveniently provide sauces for you to help yourself to. I absolutely love this place; it's my go-to spot!

We used to have a Young Chow Cafe nearby, but when the owner retired, we started driving about 15 minutes to this location. The food is consistently hot, and the woman at the front desk and on the phone is always very friendly. The drive is definitely worth it. The spring rolls are fantastic, and the dumplings are my second favorite after the spring rolls. I usually get the combination Singapore noodles with no curry and chow mein sauce, along with the fried dumplings.

Young Chow Cafe is undoubtedly the best Chinese and Thai restaurant in the area. I've never had a bad experience here. The red curry is delicious, the fried rice is fantastic, and the General Tso's chicken is outstanding. Whenever I'm in town, I always make it a point to stop by for a meal!

Young Chow has the best Chinese food in the Haymarket/Gainesville area. This is a true family run business. Every time we go there the service is friendly and the food is outstanding. The dining area has room for small or large parties. The spring rolls and Crab Rangoon's are a must. Our friends from out of town beg us to bring them the hot and sour soup. For entrees try the Chicken Cashew and Sichuan Beef.

The food is always high quality and the folks that own the restaurant are just the nicest people. We really enjoy ordering take out from Young Chow Cafe.
