Port Of Subs - Hawthorne

- Three years ago. But while active thru hawthorne came every 2 weeks. Always stopped at the golden gate n had something Sub in the evening n then a breakfast Sub to leave the next day. Tgey was always great and even better costed. Staff was always friendly n helpful. Fresh cut meat n cheese as you have observed. My Fave was spice n provo with onions n her Mayo/Mustard spread.

Oh, my God! Fresh cut meat and cheese. Soft bread and a wide selection! Great. So glad we found it on our trip home.

I didn't even eat breakfast this morning when I started to drive. I drove 200 miles and arrived at about 10 minutes after 9 this morning, very much looking forward to the New York strip steak cheesesteak. I walked in and they didn't even have enough New York strip to make a whole sandwich. She said maybe I can get enough to make you a sandwich. I don't want a maybe sandwich for full price. I am very disappointed, don't know if I will stop back again. I was a regular customer, don't know about that anymore.

So I was driving and thinking what I wanted for dinner Hot Ham cheddar came to mind! So stopped here ordered the large Ham cheese twice toasted! The place is clean, the two folks working where awesome friendly and BAM knocked it out of the park with the sandwich! Exactly what my mind was tasting! Thank you it was Very good!

WOW!! This place is the bomb! Get the chicken melt with jalapeño bread. It?s spicyyyyy! GreT subs. Ps...don?t forget a small bucket of macaroni salad. CAUTION: Food not for Californians wanting a beach body or anyone with goal for skinny jeans. Onward to flavor town.
