This place is cozy and gourmet at the same time, the servers make you feel at home. But my advice is that book on the line first alamesacuba her reservations on the line, I tried and it was a relief I would arrive, I did not have to wait.

We stopped in for dinner because it was close to our hotel (Iberostar Grand Packard). The service was good, our waitresses were friendly. The food was just okay, nothing special. I got the Cerdo Asado Al Estilo del Chef/Grilled Pork to the Chef Style for 10cuc and it was SALTY AF! And this is coming from someone who LOVES salty foods. The boiled plantains in the dish was bland and flavorless. My wife had the Paella Vegetariana/Vegetables Paella for 6.50cuc and it was just a thin layer on the plate, nothing remarkable. They do have cold AC blowing upstairs and WiFi (advertised) but we tried to connect and it didn't work. One weird moment occured when I made eye contact with a slender man walking out of the baño. I gave him a friendly smile as he walked past and down the stairs, and he winked at me all while finishing to button his pants. It was a little creepy. I assume it was one of the owners since he was in the office area (before the baño) with another lady doing paperwork on the table.

Nice place. Friendly and hospitable as Cuban can be alone. The atmosphere is charming and food and drinks are really good. I strongly recommend if you want a quiet port of the sun.
