These folks just saved my night. I'm not kidding. I had walked all over Old San Juan trying to find first one restaurant on my list, then another, with no luck at all. My feet were miserable, my stomach was growling, and it felt like one more day when I'm kind of sorry I came on this trip at all. Then I stumbled, almost literally, on their little shop. Friendly people, yummy strawberry lemonade pops, and even some familiar rock en español over the speakers cheered me up. Even though restaurant attempts number 3 and number 4 failed as well, Señor Paleta left a sweet taste in my mouth about their product and about San Juan.
