A limited menu but freshly cooked, £5.50 for a full English, veggie version available too. Also excellent stop off for a lunchtime pint. Highly recommended
Hidden away near the lifeboat station is the East Hastings Sea Angling Association. Even more hidden is the top storey, which is a bar serving good quality pub food. If that's what you want, give it a try. There is a fully stocked bar. (I am not usually partial to Harvey's Best, but they keep theirs in top condition and serve it at just the right temperature. The bar room is TARDIS-like but we prefer to sit outside on the balcony overlooking the Channel. There are four pub-style benches.
We arrived in Hastings very early and couldn’t find anywhere to have breakfast. We asked a local security person on duty at the Stade and they recommended this place. It was perfect. Huge cooked breakfast for a fiver. Brilliant! The food was freshly cooked and good quality. The bacon was so thick it was almost like gammon! Friendly and relaxed. Eat breakfast with the fisherman on the seafront.
I'm not sure how they manage to produce such good, honest, no frills meals at such low prices but I'm pleased they do. £3.55 for a toastie a cup of tea! Well run (excellent Covid awareness), friendly a great sea view to boot!. We'll be back again soon without a doubt.
Very friendly staff and so cheap. Not the classiest place to eat but the food was of good quality and very good value
