Jack's - Harvest

I’m done with Jack’s! I’ve been a fan of their chicken biscuits for years, but they’ve changed the chicken, and it’s now terrible. The new, cheaper version tastes overly processed and low-quality, while the sandwich prices have gone up significantly. I ordered two lemonade shakes, and they were basically just lemonade with a little cream—disgusting! I’ve tried giving them multiple chances, but something has definitely changed in the last six months. My once-favorite fast food restaurant is now really disappointing.

The quality of food at this location can be quite unpredictable—sometimes it's good, other times not so much. This week, I ordered a milkshake, but it ended up having the consistency of chocolate milk and wasn't frozen at all. On the plus side, the staff is usually very friendly. Perhaps we just happened to visit at a busy time; it seems like they might be short-staffed, just like many places these days.

I've been visiting this location more frequently lately due to my job at the nearby Publix. Unfortunately, the drive-through service has consistently felt rushed and somewhat rude. They seem to disregard simple requests, like asking for an extra packet of ketchup or omitting onions. I always try to be polite and I'm not a complicated customer, yet I often feel like I'm inconveniencing them by simply placing an order.

Quality of food isn?t bad, but the reason for the low rating is my order was made incorrectly and there is no effort made to correct it. I was charged an extra $3 to change sides, which I didn?t notice until after getting home. Normally I don?t complain about this sort of thing, as all it takes is a phone call to explain the error and get it sorted out. However, I called multiple times only to have my call rejected every single time. I wouldn?t say stay away from the place, but I?d certainly suggest to check your orders before you pull away from the drive-thru.

Friendly staff, explained how short staffed they were (five people staffed with manager that normally requires 11)but they were still staying positive, food was good (ordered number five,the two burger combo) lots of onion,good fries, and as usual the apple pie was delicious. 4 stars only because it looks like previous customers tossed full cups of water onto the ground so there were puddles inside, not a reflection of the staff
