Friendly staff, great selection of beers, fantastic pizzas and relaxed atmosphere. Doesn’t get any better than this

Absolutely love this place and have been coming a long time. Its just a shame that the Covid protection measures currently in place has meant the temporary removal of many of the character features that defined Major Tom’s atmosphere.

Cracking drinks selection, lovely food, really good value and a brilliant atmosphere.

The food is superb and the ambiance is fantastic. I always enjoy coming here and look forward to my next visit. This is a top-notch restaurant.

First the positives. The restaurant is really nicely set out, the decor 's good, the music was good and it was dog friendly always nice to see a dog in a bar/restaurant. However. They have managed to invent a non existent problem by a cool menu free/human contact free ordering system via QR code and smart phone. It was a ridiculously complicated rigmarole involving setting up an account, adding a card etc etc. It wasn 't as if it speeded anything up or made it easier for the staff either. Our drinks took 15 minutes to arrive and I had to remind them of it before I got them we weren 't alone in that either; in fact the staff seemed to spend more time wandering aimlessly around with trays of drinks or food not knowing where to deliver them. This probably explained their overall surliness. Our food arrived on time, but was pretty underwhelming when it did. In summary nice place, decent atmosphere, ridiculous ordering system, poor service and very average food. I won 't be coming back.
