It was enough from great to just fine. the bretzelbrot, the salat of the farm, the fried chicken and donuts for the dessert were the standouts. wow, only suuuper special and tasty. the salat had above all the most amazing, free aromen. the pulp bread was perfectly buttery, and crack outside and soft inside. the fried chicken had great taste and the skin was beautiful and crispy; the flesh was a little dry. the kartoffel side was strange in taste, art of tasteful as powder / instant mix. probably it wasn't, but it felt so. the side of the greens was simply okay, something too muddy and quite bitter; maybe just not my thing. the bolognese was also simply okay, pasta was not fresh and a bit done, plus there was only too much sauce. the dessert was amazing. they are donut butter and they lubricated like the sky. perfectly fried and sweet level was just right. the egg balanced it and added even more layers of delicious taste. it was so delicious I forgot to take a photo before eating it! service was fantastic. everyone was super nice and friendly, not a hauch of keeping from everyone. overall a quite great experience with eating. the noise level was the main problem. I wish it was better and had more balance between loud and quiet. it is not so pleasant to shout through conversations, after everything they go to dinner to talk to people with whom they are. we're gonna go back to the finals, but we're gonna sit out next time.
One of my favorite places in the city! the foods and cocktails are always great, the service is top notch, even the host pulled our chairs for us when sitting that I have seen in most of the louisville restaurants in one because not. the pleasant atmosphere is touched with subtle elegance, but unpretentious. finslly, our server informed us that there will be an upcoming menu update, so I look forward to my next experience here- soon!
Solid place large ambiente. eating is fantastic. would recommend, good for termine and special occasions. ordered bolognese and also her fried chicken, and brezel appetizer. I was pretty happy.
This is a wonderful restaurant and an amazing experience. our server, kayla, was a full of knowing when we talked about the mixed beverage menu and during the meal was “present” but not “smothering”. the pei mustels were bathed in a curry/kokosauce that should die, and the locally baked brot (by blue dog bakery) was simply perfect for filling up the sauce. we had the ravioli and the ny strip and everything was perfectly cooked and delicious. the ambiente des ortes reminded us of an upscale restaurant that would be found in hilton head (one of our favorite destinations) that is lifted off with a delightful piano player that gives even more elegance to the meal. a real 10/10 and cannot wait to dinate here again in short.
10/10 recommend! Excellent cocktails! The ravioli was perfect. Ambiance and service were impeccable. I can't wait to go back and sit on the patio. We were there on a rainy night.
